Hi, I'm Sue — designer, dreamer, makeup artist, and the founder of Amberain Concept.
My journey into bridal work began with a simple belief: every bride deserves to feel completely herself on her wedding day. Not just a dress she wore, but one that became part of her story, a makeup look that could not be coordinated with the gown and a gown and a look that captures exactly who she is and how she loves.
That belief is backed by serious professional training and over a decade of hands-on experience. I graduated from TAFTC Singapore — one of Singapore's leading fashion institutions — in 2014, where I built a deep technical foundation in garment construction, textile science, and fashion design. From the moment I graduated, I stepped into the fashion industry and have worked within it every year since. Over more than ten years, I have developed an intimate knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, and the art of making a garment work for a real woman's body — not a standard template.
In building Amberain Concept, I wanted to create something Singapore's bridal scene was missing: a studio that could serve every bride, regardless of her budget or timeline. That is why I offer four services — fully bespoke gowns for brides who want something completely unique, semi-bespoke designs for brides who want personalisation at a more accessible price, rental gowns for brides who want designer quality without the full commitment, and professional bridal makeup for brides who want their entire look in the hands of one person who truly understands it.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with brides from all walks of life across Singapore — Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, and every background in between. Each one has taught me something new about beauty, culture, and the way love shows up in the details. My design and makeup philosophy has been shaped by all of them: there is no single ideal of bridal beauty. There is only your beauty, and my job is to bring it out.
When you come to Amberain Concept, you are not just booking a service. You are beginning a creative partnership with someone who genuinely cares — about how your gown fits, how your makeup photographs, and how you feel when you walk through that door on your wedding day.
I can't wait to meet you.
